You might notice some changes this week in your Community News. First of all, we’ve changed our size. We have adopted a sleek, modern, reader-friendly newsprint size that will increase our visibility on newsstands and eliminate the fold. This move allows us to not only conserve newsprint, but it improves the presentation of our award-winning news coverage.
The other big change is something we hope you’ll “flip” for. The Community News publishes two weekly editions, one in St. Louis County and the other in St. Charles County. While these areas have a distinct and separate geography; most of us live, work and play regionally.
You may live in St. Peters, but work in Florissant. You may send your kids to school in Hazelwood, but drive them to baseball practice in Wentzville. You may go to church in St. Ann and then go have lunch at your favorite restaurant in St. Charles.
To that end, our readers can now enjoy our coverage of both sides of the Missouri River.
You’ll get the same great local coverage, content and advertisers you’ve come to expect from the Community News, and if you want to find out what’s happening just a little further away, simply flip over the paper and you’ll find our other edition printed upside down on the other side.
We’re excited about these changes and the opportunity to give you even more good, local news.
As always, we want to know what you think. Shoot us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org and let us know your take on the changes.
Thank you for reading the Community News!
